Friends in Faith for Faith Formation

Shepherd of the Bay Faith Formation believes that it is important to have authentic, available, and affirming adults, in a young person's life. Eighth graders are given mentors when they are confirmed in hopes that their new friend in faith will support them through their high school years. The partners are encouraged to meet throughout the year and are given a folder of ideas to talk about. Phone calls, texting, e-mails, and Facebook time are encouraged. All Friends in Faith partners meet four times a year for dinner and fellowship.
